Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in assigned business segments and geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with business banking clients to achieve sales and revenue goals
  • Actively engage in the sales process to ensure attainment of regional and individual goals and objectives
  • Present product solutions to client needs and provide responsive quality service
  • Approve transactions within delegated authority and manage overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk
  • Identify business opportunities and solicit referrals of other Bank products or services
  • Develop a strong understanding of company, industry, business, and needs to assist in client calling efforts
  • Negotiate transactions, document and close loan transactions, and ensure conformance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements
  • Exercise sound credit and risk judgment in approving transactions and recommend approval of credits meeting the Bank's credit standards
  • Ensure the quality of all business introduced to the Bank and represent the Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience required
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial lending experience within the segment required
  • Minimum 5 years of credit experience required
  • Skills and knowledge of Bank operations, policies, and procedures, and regulatory compliance
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred to be in good standing under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) and be registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
Compensation

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
