Job Title: Vice President, Sales

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Vice President, Sales. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives business growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sales plans that align with the company's objectives and drive growth.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the sales team, delivering consistent guidance and championing support.
  • Set ambitious sales goals and construct a performance culture focused on surpassing these targets.
  • Foster strong collaborations with marketing, product development, and other critical functions to ensure sales strategies are fully integrated with company-wide initiatives.
  • Interpret sales analytics and apply this knowledge to make astute business decisions.
  • Strategically lead sales-related fiscal planning and expenditure to support strategic goals and sales effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and hone sales processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure the sales force is operating at peak efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of sales operations, including pipeline management strategies, forecasting methods, and the customer lifecycle.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach with comprehensive business and financial savvy.
  • Stellar leadership talents aimed at team motivation and development.
  • Advanced strategic thinking with the aptitude to develop and implement creative sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communicative and interpersonal dexterity.
  • Proficiency in sales management software suites and CRM platforms.
  • Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in working with multiple departments to achieve sales performance objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming sales operations within a legacy structure.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership in sales, including a documented history of conceptualizing and executing strategies that significantly exceed sales performance metrics.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
