*Key Responsibilities*

Lead Strategic Initiatives for Corporate Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses, including vertical and horizontal integrations. Upon receiving approval, coordinate with a cross-functional project team.
  • Maintain proactive communication with project leaders to establish clear project objectives, backgrounds, and expected outcomes, ensuring all team members are aligned.
  • Oversee and deliver data-driven market assessments, guiding junior analysts in applying market analysis frameworks to identify optimal product, pricing, distribution, and geographic opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations, develop business cases, and outline actionable plans.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across various functions to ensure alignment and support.
  • Deliver project results to senior leadership.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance business processes to sustain growth from newly identified opportunities.

Business Model Innovation

  • Formulate various business model alternatives (in-house, outsourcing, partnerships, mergers & acquisitions) and implement strategies upon receiving the necessary approvals.

Support M&A Activities Throughout the Lifecycle:

  • Conduct deal evaluations by developing analyses that inform decisions regarding potential acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Assist management in articulating the rationale and risks associated with proposed transactions through presentation materials.
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses using advanced Excel techniques. Support the creation of financial projections for valuation assessments and analyze potential synergies and integration costs.
  • Facilitate due diligence efforts by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing diligence lists, and collaborating with subject matter experts to analyze findings.
  • Assist in post-M&A integration by supporting business leaders in establishing growth strategies and designing organizational frameworks.

Provide Analytical Expertise:

  • Act as the analytical lead on projects, employing critical and creative thinking to derive actionable insights.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to challenge existing norms.
  • Respond to time-sensitive requests from senior management effectively.
  • Maintain an external perspective by staying informed about consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance team capabilities through a focus on continuous improvement.

*Qualifications*

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
  • Skills: Proficient in data analytics, problem-solving, and creating reports for senior management.
  • Interpersonal: Ability to build rapport and credibility across diverse teams.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial and change-driven.
  • Technical: Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical: Capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines and developing business cases.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of market research and data analysis.
