We are seeking a skilled and versatile Senior Accountant to join our expanding team at PeopleShare. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and lead the month-end closing processes.
  • Generate and record monthly general ledger journal entries, ensuring precision and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in establishing labor and overhead standard costs and perform monthly comparisons of standard versus actual costs.
  • Work closely with the operations team on inventory verification and obsolescence assessments.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all cash accounts to uphold financial integrity.
  • Support the sales team in processing orders and monitoring customer invoices.
  • Accurately collect and record cash payments.
  • Assist external tax professionals in preparing annual corporate tax filings.
  • Support audit and financial review processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and other business stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
  • Guide and mentor the accounting team, promoting a cooperative and effective work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, time management, and prioritization skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with an ERP system across multiple modules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication; sound judgment and the ability to interact with various levels of management and teams
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities are essential
  • High attention to detail is required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding business operations and internal information
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at an intermediate level
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must successfully pass background and credit checks
