This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's growth by expanding Bobcat's diverse product lines into emerging and underserved markets.
*Key Responsibilities*
Lead Strategic Initiatives for Corporate Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses, including both vertical and horizontal integration strategies. Once approved, coordinate with cross-functional teams to mobilize project efforts.
- Maintain proactive communication with project leaders to clearly outline project objectives, background, and expected outcomes, ensuring all team members are aligned.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, guiding junior analysts in applying established frameworks to identify optimal product, pricing, distribution, and market opportunities.
- Offer strategic recommendations and develop actionable business cases to support decision-making.
- Engage with key stakeholders across various functions to foster collaboration.
- Deliver project results and insights to senior leadership.
- Continuously monitor and refine business processes to sustain growth momentum from newly identified opportunities.
Business Model Innovation
- Formulate various business model alternatives (in-house, outsourcing, partnerships, M&A) and oversee their implementation upon receiving approval.
Support M&A Activities Throughout the Lifecycle:
- Assist in deal evaluations by developing analyses that inform decisions regarding potential acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Aid senior management in articulating the rationale and risks associated with proposed transactions through comprehensive presentation materials.
- Engage in financial modeling and valuation, utilizing advanced Excel techniques to perform deal analyses and develop financial projections.
- Facilitate due diligence efforts by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing and maintaining diligence documentation.
- Support post-M&A integration by collaborating with business leaders to define growth strategies and organizational structures.
Provide Strategic Insights and Leadership:
- Act as the analytical lead on projects, employing critical thinking to derive actionable insights.
- Exhibit strong leadership and influence skills, capable of challenging conventional approaches.
- Respond to time-sensitive requests from senior management with agility.
- Maintain an awareness of external trends, including consumer behavior and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with management to enhance team capabilities through a commitment to continuous improvement.
*Qualifications*
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
- Skills: Proficient in data analytics, problem-solving, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and credibility across diverse teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of driving change.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of market research and financial analysis.
