This position plays a vital role in enhancing the organization by spearheading the expansion of Doosan Bobcat's diverse product portfolio into new and underserved markets.

*Key Responsibilities*

Lead Strategic Initiatives for Corporate Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessments, including potential vertical and horizontal integrations. Upon securing alignment and approval, coordinate with a cross-functional project team.
  • Maintain proactive communication with project leaders to clearly articulate project backgrounds, objectives, and anticipated deliverables, ensuring all team members are aligned.
  • Guide and execute thorough market analyses, utilizing established frameworks to identify optimal product, pricing, distribution, and geographic opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations, develop business cases, and outline actionable plans.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment and support.
  • Deliver project outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance business processes to sustain growth momentum in newly identified opportunities.

Business Model Innovation

  • Develop and propose various business model strategies (in-house, outsourcing, partnerships, M&A) and oversee implementation upon receiving approval.

Support M&A Processes:

  • Conduct deal evaluations, assisting in the analysis to guide decisions regarding potential acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Aid in articulating clear rationales and associated risks for proposed transactions through presentation materials.
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis using advanced Excel techniques, including the development of financial projections and assessment of potential synergies and integration costs.
  • Assist in due diligence efforts, collaborating with internal leaders and external advisors to prepare and maintain diligence documentation.
  • Support post-M&A integration by helping business leaders define growth strategies and organizational structures.

Provide Analytical Leadership:

  • Act as the primary analytics resource on projects, applying critical thinking to derive actionable insights.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influence skills, capable of challenging existing paradigms.
  • Respond to time-sensitive requests from senior management effectively.
  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends, consumer behavior, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance team capabilities through a focus on growth and development.

*Qualifications*

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.
  • Skills: Proficient in data analytics, problem-solving, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in report creation and presentation to senior management.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility across various functions and cultures.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to drive change.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in market research and data analysis.
