Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Plumbing Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering activities on allocated projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members and external parties to ensure seamless project completion.
  • Support Project Managers in various tasks such as take-off, estimation, billing, and closure documentation.
  • Aid in creating proposals, memos, and other project-related paperwork, nurturing internal departmental relationships.
  • Survey existing structures for potential retrofit opportunities, collecting energy usage and structural data.
  • Create initial designs for budgeting purposes and offer technical assistance throughout construction endeavors.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Department to smoothly integrate scope, pricing, and delivery of purchased items.
  • Coordinate installation processes among engineering, construction teams, and interested parties, overseeing on-site progress and operational obstacles.
  • Efficiently handle administrative duties, such as document management and procurement logs, ensuring projects move forward on time and within budget.
  • Engage proactively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, participating in meetings and providing clear instructions to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in plumbing, with a solid grasp of plumbing systems and technologies.
  • Proven ability to work independently and tackle challenges with determination.
  • Strong teamwork skills and familiarity with organizational tactics.
  • Curiosity for technology and excellent problem-solving abilities, with a readiness to learn and adapt.
  • Physical capability to perform various tasks and lift weights up to 30 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for both near and far distances.
