We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in mechanical engineering, particularly within the commercial domain, and demonstrate a stable career trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering design projects, managing the entire process from initial concept through to final delivery.
  • Provide expert oversight and mentorship to the design engineering team.
  • Develop and assess HVAC and plumbing system designs, ensuring compliance with all quality standards and regulations.
  • Utilize advanced CAD and Revit software for detailed design and drafting.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to create cohesive solutions.
  • Act as a mentor and technical advisor for junior engineers and team members.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to offer consultative insights and ensure project goals and timelines are achieved.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be local to the area.
  • A consistent work history is highly valued.
