HVAC Controls Technician Opportunity

Are you looking to advance your career with a leading HVAC services provider? This position for an HVAC Controls Technician involves engaging with innovative temperature control systems. Your key duties will encompass programming and configuring control systems tailored to specific project needs, alongside executing installations, routine maintenance, and urgent service calls for commercial HVAC setups.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Configure control system databases in accordance with project requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Calibrate and validate control systems to meet operational protocols and commissioning standards.
  • Create user-friendly graphical interfaces for diverse projects.
  • Educate clients on the functionality and upkeep of temperature control systems.
  • Revise documentation and work closely with application engineers.
  • Spot potential sales leads and advocate for service agreements during system start-up and commissioning.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience with DDC/BAS control systems.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control mechanisms, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, and fire safety alarms.
  • Expertise in programming and troubleshooting systems such as Distech, KMC, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, and Tridium/Honeywell.
  • Experience with pneumatic control systems is a plus.
