We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Business Development Director to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our institutional asset management business in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth and expand our client base.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and consultants to promote our investment solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies and materials.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise to clients and internal stakeholders on fixed income investment trends and strategies.
- Manage and develop a team of business development professionals to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in the institutional asset management industry.
- Proven expertise in fixed income investments and a deep understanding of the institutional investor landscape.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Series 7 or 63 license, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
