Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team. As a Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our associates, subcontractors, and clients. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Conducting site-specific safety orientations for new associates and subcontractors to ensure they are aware of the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date safety records to track and analyze safety performance.
  • Identifying and implementing effective mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment, including conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Participating in job safety analysis and toolbox meetings to promote positive hazard recognition and encourage employees to report safety concerns.
  • Reviewing and acknowledging Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting incidents and accidents to management and corporate safety management to ensure prompt investigation and corrective action.
  • Assisting with scheduled safety meetings and conducting safety observations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring safety progress and recommending corrective measures to management to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Learning and adhering to ISC Constructors, LLC safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years of industrial safety experience with an E&I contractor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and clients.
  • Clear driving record preferred.
  • Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
  • Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) or Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction hazards.
