About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Systems Specialist to join our team at Conagra Brands. As an EHS Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our EHS systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support EHS Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the EHS Operational Excellence Director and Team to implement and utilize EHS systems, providing training and building capability.
  • Maintain EHS Data Management Systems: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of EHS data, analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze EHS and Sustainability Data: Provide insights and recommendations for system and process improvements, contributing to the attainment of EHS performance targets.
  • Develop and Publish Metrics Scorecards and Reports: Create and distribute regular reports on EHS metrics and projects, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage EHS Site and Data Management Systems: Maintain the EHS site on SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, ensuring system availability and ease of use.
  • Integrate Tools and Technology Solutions: Gather and analyze EHS risks and data to foster the development of a world-class EHS culture and results.
  • Manage Projects and Project Team Resources: Coordinate implementation and capability building within the EHS team and across the network.
  • Promote a World-Class EHS Culture: Apply systems, processes, and tools to identify EHS risk, mitigate risk, and prevent losses within the daily work of Conagra manufacturing operations.
  • Develop Training Materials and Deliver Training: Create training materials and deliver training at the enterprise and site level to build capability towards EHS systems, processes, and tools.
  • Support EHS Audit and Assessment Process: Ensure system use and effectiveness, EHS compliance, management system effectiveness, and employee engagement in loss prevention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or Environmental Science
  • 2+ years of practical industrial or manufacturing EHS experience
  • Experience conducting training
  • Be the EHS system super-user and willing to learn new technology
  • Project development and management
  • Understanding of OSHA and EPA (state and federal) regulations
  • Interpret State and Federal regulations and applicability to facilities to ensure compliance
  • Experience performing risk assessments, audits, and root cause analysis
  • Experience defining problems, collecting and analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
