What to Expect from Your Internship:
During your 11-week internship, you will be integrated into Conagra Brands and our Environmental Health and Safety team. You will undertake a significant primary project along with several smaller assignments. Potential projects may include:

  • Participating in safety and environmental audits at various company sites.
  • Creating a company policy to address a specific regulatory issue, along with an implementation strategy and training materials.
  • Analyzing company loss data to establish best practices for safe operations, including training resources.
  • Assisting manufacturing sites with specific initiatives, such as developing lockout/tagout procedures or confined space entry protocols.
  • Collaborating with factory teams to enhance existing safety processes, including behavior-based safety initiatives and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Conducting audits of safety management systems in partnership with factory EHS personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
  • Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Willingness to relocate to the assigned manufacturing facility for the duration of the internship.
