About the Role:
The Head of Kitchen Management at Yardbird DC is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience. This role involves managing a team of experienced chefs and cooks, maintaining high food quality standards, and controlling costs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and execute menus, ensuring consistency and high quality across all dishes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to promote growth and development.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and control food and labor costs within established guidelines.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Valid Food Safety/Manager Certification.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members.


Compensation Package: Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
