Job Title: Kitchen Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team at Maman - Penn Quarter DC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, hiring and training staff, streamlining kitchen processes, and maintaining culinary standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory to ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
  • Hire and train new staff to facilitate quick acclimation.
  • Streamline kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times.
  • Work with the Culinary Director to develop and maintain the restaurant menu.
  • Set regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verify that staff is maintaining sanitation levels.
  • Create schedules for all kitchen staff.
  • Track kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a kitchen leadership role.
  • Food Handler Certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:
  • $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
