Job Title: Head of Culinary Operations

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef to lead our culinary team at a high-end Lebanese restaurant in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of Lebanese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Create innovative, seasonally inspired menus that reflect the restaurant's unique culinary fusion.
  • Kitchen Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team to ensure high performance and collaboration.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and quality control.
  • Culture Development: Foster a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in upscale dining.
  • Culinary Expertise: Expertise in Lebanese cuisine is highly preferred, but background/formation in other cuisines is also encouraged.
  • Skillset: Strong leadership and communication skills, proven ability to create innovative menus, and track record of managing kitchen operations and maintaining cost controls effectively.
