Role Overview: Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst at InterSources, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information assets. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring compliance and enhancing our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in IT Controls: Showcase your knowledge in implementing IT controls, conducting risk assessments, and performing security evaluations.
  • Program Innovation: Identify and propose enhancements to our security programs to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date.
  • Supplier Cybersecurity Assessments: Ensure that cybersecurity evaluations of suppliers are completed thoroughly and effectively.
  • On-Site Control Validations: Conduct on-site assessments of key suppliers to validate their security controls.
  • Security Audit Engagements: Independently plan and execute comprehensive security audit engagements.
  • Evaluation of Security Controls: Assess supplier security measures in accordance with established cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to business leaders regarding information security risks associated with third-party suppliers.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a resource for third-party risk management strategies and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years in information security and audit roles.
  • Security Assessment Proficiency: Strong understanding of security assessment and audit principles.
  • Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with networking principles and data protection strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a talent for deriving insights from data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Framework Familiarity: Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF is preferred.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISA, CISSP, and CISM.
  • Language Proficiency: Effective communication skills in English are required.
  • Team Environment: Ability to thrive in a diverse, global team setting.
  • Work Approach: A proactive and independent work style is essential.
