About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring environmental, health, and safety risks. You will conduct inspections and investigations, provide technical advice and interpretation of local, state, and federal regulations, and develop and conduct employee and student training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation or hazard identification
  • Monitor and report on environmental, health, and safety metrics and trends
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees and students on environmental, health, and safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and university policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in occupational safety and health, emergency response/management, environmental science, or a related field. You will also need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

Stanford University offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 per annum, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
