As a Floating Banker at Banner Bank, you will play a crucial role in providing essential teller and banking support across various retail branch locations within a designated geographic area. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service to clients, acting as the representative of the Bank, while ensuring that all client transactions are processed with precision and efficiency. Daily travel between branches will be an integral part of your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions in line with established policies and procedures, ensuring a superior client experience.
  • Support clients in reaching their financial objectives by actively promoting Bank products and services, and referring them to specialized Bank personnel when necessary.
  • Deliver quality work within set deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal reliability and punctuality.
  • Engage in the sale of Bank products and services through direct interactions and phone communications, meeting the minimum referral standards established by management.
  • Provide backup teller and personal banker support at various retail branches, with work locations varying daily.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
Experience & Travel Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of teller experience, including sales experience with established performance goals is required.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in PC applications, particularly Windows-based software and calculators.
  • Fundamental math, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proper phone and email etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work within branch operating hours.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting compensation range is $18+/hour plus an additional $1.50 premium on top of the base pay.
  • Incentives and commission opportunities may be available for eligible positions.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance.

  • 401k plan with up to 4% matching and immediate vesting.
