Position OverviewAs a Floating Banker at Banner Bank, you will deliver essential teller and banking support across various retail branch locations within a designated region. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring clients receive exceptional service, acting as the Bank's representative while accurately processing transactions. Daily travel between branches will be a requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and efficiently process transactions in line with established policies while providing outstanding client experiences.
- Assist clients in reaching their financial objectives by actively promoting Bank products and services and referring them to specialists when necessary.
- Deliver quality work within deadlines, whether supervised or independently.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member on all assignments.
- Maintain high standards of personal reliability and punctuality.
- Engage in selling Bank products and services through in-person and telephone interactions, meeting minimum referral standards set by management.
- Provide backup teller or personal banker support at any retail branch within the specified region, with varying daily work locations.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, security protocols, and government regulations.
- High School Diploma required.
- A minimum of 2 years of teller experience, including sales experience with established goals, is required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in PC applications and calculators.
- Fundamental math, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proper phone and email etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work during branch hours.
- Starting compensation range is $18+/hour plus a $1.50 premium on top of base pay.
- Incentives and commissions may be available for eligible positions.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance.
- Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, personal days, volunteer time, and 11 company-paid holidays.
- 401k plan with up to 4% matching and immediate vesting.
