As a Floating Banker at Banner Bank, you will provide essential support as a teller or banker across various retail branch locations within a designated area. Your role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional service to clients, acting as the representative of the Bank, while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of client transactions. Daily travel between branches will be a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing in line with established policies and procedures, while providing outstanding client service.
- Assist clients in reaching their financial objectives by actively promoting Bank products and services, and directing clients to specialized Bank personnel when necessary.
- Complete tasks effectively within deadlines, whether working independently or as part of a team.
- Maintain a high standard of personal reliability and punctuality.
- Engage in the sale of Bank products and services through face-to-face and telephone interactions, meeting the minimum referral benchmarks set by management.
- Provide back-up coverage for teller or personal banker roles at various retail branch locations, with a flexible work location on a daily basis.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of teller experience, including sales experience with established targets (Required).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in PC applications, particularly Windows-based software and calculators.
- Fundamental math, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate phone and email etiquette.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships; excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to work during branch operating hours.
- Starting compensation range (based on experience) is $18+/hour plus an additional $1.50 premium on top of base pay.
- Incentives and commission opportunities may be available for eligible positions.

- 401k plan with up to 4% matching and immediate vesting.
