About the Role

Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming calls according to a proven script and schedule sales or service appointments.
  • Log all customer comments into our Dealership Management System.
  • Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made in the Dealership Management System.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with future customers.
  • Post scheduled appointments on the appointment board in the Business Development Center.
  • Re-schedule "no-show" customer appointments.
  • Follow-up with sales or service departments to determine if the appointment was kept and what the outcome was.
  • Maintain and update customer changes in the database.
  • Contact current customer base on current marketing incentives.
  • Respond to customer website requests.
  • Contact internet clients via email and phone to schedule sales or service appointments.
  • Notify necessary departments to inform of appointments set.
  • Forward any customer concerns to the correct department Manager and follow-up.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in business development.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory customer service work experience.
