POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Manager of Sales Analytics and Enablement is pivotal in achieving organizational goals through data-driven insights. This position is designed to align with the strategic vision of the Network Innovation and Strategy team.

The Manager will collaborate across key divisions to enhance membership growth by addressing specific data requests related to Sales, ensuring the delivery of precise and market-leading value propositions that elevate client satisfaction.

As a member of the Value and Sales Enablement team within the Health Services Division, this individual will engage directly with Account Executives, Consultants, and New Business teams, providing support in acquiring new and renewing existing business.

This role entails organizing the necessary technology, processes, personnel, and financial resources to meet the current and future analytical needs of Sales enablement, particularly within the commercial and Medicare Advantage sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead a team of 4-6 professionals focused on developing analytical capabilities and reporting for Sales Enablement, incorporating self-service options through technology implementation and best practices.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to teams involved in new business, renewals, and account management.
  3. Gain comprehensive knowledge of market-specific requirements and the local and national network to provide analytical support throughout the new business acquisition process.
  4. Collaborate with competitive intelligence teams to ensure that Health Services programs are positioned effectively within market expectations.
  5. Prepare and present analytical findings to empower Sales, creating data-driven recommendations for leadership.
  6. Organize data across various business lines to support sales initiatives, business development opportunities, and product development.
  7. Partner with stakeholders to ascertain data requirements and develop necessary tools and services.
  8. Oversee vendor contracts and the implementation of tools essential for network analytics.
  9. Develop analytical frameworks and select appropriate methods to address Sales enablement inquiries.
  10. Drive analytics programs that enhance health plan performance, creating market-facing sales tools.
  11. Utilize diverse data sets to generate reports and dashboards for managerial use.
  12. Monitor the effectiveness and utilization of Sales Enablement tools across various business lines.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position involves managing personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

Certifications: Preferred certifications include Data Management/Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or Data Management/MapR Certified Data Analyst.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in data analytics, along with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience in provider network management or health plan product structure.
  • Understanding of data architecture in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
  • Proficiency in relational database theory and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Big Data applications.
  • Experience with analytics tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and AI/ML applications.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as SAS, Excel, and SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor others.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
