Mid-Atlantic Food Service Sales Manager

Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager for Food Service will spearhead sales expansion within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Key responsibilities encompass developing food service partnerships, boosting distributor sales, supervising brokers, engaging in trade exhibitions, conducting regular communications, managing trade expenditures, delivering sales training, presenting to customers, and facilitating product sampling.
This position emphasizes cultivating robust relationships with clients, food distributors, and brokers, crafting customer-specific growth strategies, and utilizing data analysis to achieve profitable sales advancements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Attain Bridor's annual objectives for profitability, volume, and new product introductions.
- Discover new business prospects while nurturing existing relationships.
- Build connections with key industry stakeholders to drive growth.
- Formulate and modify annual business strategies based on market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Guide and support broker representatives to achieve sales goals.
- Provide insights on pricing, shelf positioning, and sales tactics.
- Collaborate with finance teams to uphold competitive pricing structures.
- Monitor SKU forecasts for precision.
- Stay informed on market strategies and share insights with the team.
- Identify and pursue new sales and profit avenues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business development, marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of regional sales experience targeting Food Service accounts in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
- Proven job stability and career advancement.
- Skilled in creating presentations utilizing Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
- Familiarity with marketing, analytics, and customer development.
- Exceptional skills in sales negotiation and closing.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Experience in territory sales of premium quality baking products is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
- This role is remotely based within a reasonable distance to the Washington DC metropolitan area.
- A minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional weekend commitments.
- Travel requirements for this position range from 50% to 70%.
- A valid motor vehicle operator's license and current automobile insurance are necessary.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, plus performance bonuses and advancement opportunities, along with a monthly stipend/car allowance.
