Administrative Assistant

Paraquad is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative/HR Assistant to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to the Senior Director of HR and perform various HR-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage HR-related tasks, including personnel policies, job postings, and employee onboarding.
- Prepare materials and participate in new employee orientation.
- Ensure smooth employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and paperwork.
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
- Process background checks and drug tests for applicants and employees.
- Assist with employee benefits and programs.
- Coordinate meetings, including Board meetings and All Staff meetings.
- Take and distribute meeting minutes.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Proficient use of technology, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Zoom.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to create and sustain strong working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and implement procedures.
- Ability to independently make decisions relative to job duties.
- Reliable, self-motivated, focused, positive attitude, flexible, and proactive.
- Sound judgment in decision-making and exceptional boundaries related to confidential information.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Willingness to assume new responsibilities.
- Demonstrates commitment to diversity and inclusion, valuing a diversity of perspectives and encouraging contributions by all team members.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with HRIS systems preferred, but not required.
- Two to three years of related experience working in office administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
