Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Marketing Manager, will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies to enhance the visibility of Ironwood Physicians, P.C. This role focuses on producing engaging content, managing digital platforms, organizing events, and nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in digital marketing, content creation, and healthcare marketing, coupled with a commitment to improving patient engagement and promoting practice growth. Responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development & Management:

  • Produce, host, and oversee multimedia content, including podcasts, videos, blogs, and other digital assets to effectively promote practice offerings.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and support staff to develop compelling narratives and educational materials that reflect the practice's mission and values.
  • Regularly update the practice's website and social media platforms with engaging and relevant content.

Digital Media Oversight:

  • Design and implement social media strategies to boost brand recognition, patient interaction, and community engagement.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics to refine campaigns and provide performance reports.
  • Interact with followers, address inquiries, and manage the online reputation of the practice.
  • Enhance website content and optimize keywords to improve search engine rankings and increase traffic to online platforms.

Physician Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain connections with referring physicians and healthcare providers through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Organize and conduct meetings, presentations, and informational sessions to showcase practice services and strengthen professional ties.
  • Monitor and evaluate referral trends and physician engagement to identify growth opportunities.

Event Planning & Management:

  • Design and implement marketing events, health fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Oversee logistics, including venue selection, catering, materials, and promotional activities to ensure successful events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize event effectiveness and visibility.

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with practice objectives.
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and patient feedback to continually enhance marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of marketing principles, including both traditional and digital strategies (SEO, social media, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in digital content creation, social media management, and event coordination.
  • A portfolio showcasing your content creation skills, including videos, podcasts, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare marketing, patient engagement, and physician outreach.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse audience.
  • Proficient in marketing tools and platforms, including social media management software and video editing tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development tools (e.g., WordPress) is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, preferably within the healthcare sector, is required.
