Key Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly schedule, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain precise payroll and benefits documentation and generate relevant reports.
- Assist the talent acquisition team with job postings, resume evaluations, and interview coordination.
- Support the management of applicant tracking systems and maintain candidate files.
- Conduct reference checks and facilitate background verification processes.
- Guide new hires through the onboarding journey, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
- Prepare onboarding materials and lead New Hire Orientation sessions.
- Assist new employees in completing necessary documentation and understanding company policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure new hires have the required resources.
- Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and recognition events.
- Work with internal teams to ensure successful planning and execution of events.
- Collect feedback from employees to enhance engagement strategies.
- Manage event budgets to ensure all activities are conducted within allocated resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR capacity, with a focus on payroll and benefits management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- A sense of humor is a plus.
