Position Overview

The Center for Global Engagement is seeking a dedicated Financial and Human Resources Associate to enhance our administrative operations. This role is essential in providing financial oversight and human resources support across various units, contributing to the overall mission of fostering international experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

  • Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies while managing departmental budgets and expenditures.
  • Oversee scholarship disbursements and maintain accurate financial records for multiple accounts.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial transactions to optimize budget forecasting and reporting.
  • Execute routine financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable tasks.

Human Resources Functions:

  • Manage the complete human resources lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and termination.
  • Serve as the primary contact for hiring managers, facilitating recruitment processes and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Administrative Coordination:

  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and disseminate procedural guidelines to support staff in their roles.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to minimize redundancy.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree along with relevant experience in financial management and human resources. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with financial management systems will be advantageous.
