Position: Project Associate

Department: Sales

Reports to: Principal

Position Overview:

This engaging role plays a crucial part in various tasks associated with the smooth and prompt handling of client requests as outlined by the sales protocol. Responsibilities may encompass design conceptualization, generating design inquiries, selecting images, entering orders, coordinating with vendors, and providing general customer support. This position will also involve preparing proposals under the guidance of a Principal, Project Consultants, and independently initiated proposals. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to juggle multiple details from various sources while managing overall project execution. This role does not involve initiating sales contacts.

The essence of this position is to act as a bridge between the sales and operational teams within the organization and the clients. The candidate should demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional demeanor. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales-related tasks: design, order processing, customer support, project oversight, presentation preparation, proposal development, and specifications.
  2. Operations-related tasks: inventory oversight, vendor coordination, process design, and implementation.

The candidate will need to either possess or quickly develop the ability to consult with clients regarding artistic and branding visuals to be showcased in their commercial spaces.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have experience in sales, operations, and production within the commercial art, custom exhibits, or signage sectors. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as familiarity with business software systems related to operational functions.

A degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, or Fine Arts is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The candidate must be capable of receiving products in designated areas, moving items to staging zones, and lifting products onto production tables, carts, and overhead storage.
