Position Overview:
This engaging role supports various functions related to the effective and timely management of client requests as outlined by the sales framework. Responsibilities may encompass design assistance, generating requests, selecting images, entering orders, coordinating with vendors, and providing general customer service. The position entails preparing proposals under the guidance of a Principal, Project Consultants, and independently initiated proposals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple details from various sources while overseeing project management tasks. This role does not involve initiating sales contacts.
The core function of this position is to act as a bridge between the sales and operations teams within the organization and the client. The individual should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional demeanor. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales-related tasks: design support, order processing, customer service, project oversight, presentation development, proposal drafting, and specifications.
- Operations-related tasks: inventory oversight, vendor coordination, process design, and implementation.
The candidate will either possess or quickly develop the capability to consult with clients regarding artistic and branding imagery suitable for their commercial spaces.
Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have experience in sales, operations, and production within the commercial art, custom exhibit, or signage sectors. Proficiency in written and verbal communication is crucial, along with the ability to operate effectively with technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as business software systems relevant to operational functions.
A degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, or Fine Arts is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The individual in this role should be capable of receiving products in designated areas, moving items to staging areas, and lifting products onto production tables, carts, and overhead storage.
