Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation, including contracts, permits, and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, including tracking deliverables and making necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables and track progress.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
  • Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are strictly followed on the construction site.
  • Assist in the resolution of any potential issues or risks, ensuring minimal impact on project deliverables.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the Construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent ability to coordinate multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong familiarity with construction management software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including architects, contractors, and engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP or CAPM, is an advantage.
