Reports to Store Manager:


As a Retail Team Leader, you will collaborate with your Store Manager to guide store associates in meeting sales performance targets through proactive coaching, fostering a team-oriented sales atmosphere, and ensuring operational excellence while serving as the manager on duty.

This role includes being entrusted with store keys to open and close the store as scheduled, acting in the capacity of the manager on duty.

Leadership:


Collaborates with the store management team to guide staff in achieving sales, service, and operational goals when designated as the manager on duty.

Demonstrates company values and leads by example as an active mentor.
Effectively communicates priorities and sales-driving information to ensure staff is prepared to maximize business opportunities.
Assists in the recruitment of store personnel and promotes diversity by contributing to an inclusive store atmosphere.

Performance:
Aids the management team in realizing store business objectives, including sales, customer service, and operational targets.
Understands how to utilize store reports to inform decisions that drive business success.
Engages in business outreach initiatives and communicates leads to the Store Manager.
Identifies performance improvement opportunities and collaborates with the management team to develop enhancement plans.

Operational Excellence:


Partners with the management team to ensure adequate staffing to effectively implement initiatives and operational tasks that fulfill the customer promise.

Assists management in training store staff on all internal operational processes as assigned.
Stays updated on corporate communications, directives, initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Supports the management team in executing store programs aimed at increasing efficiencies in sales, service, operations, and branding when designated.

Customer Experience:


Assists in training the store team on customer service standards to create an outstanding customer experience, exceed expectations, and achieve a high Net Promoter Score.

Utilizes customer feedback to address or resolve concerns.

Works with the management team to ensure the store is visually aligned with brand standards and that marketing initiatives are executed as directed by the company.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of Retail or Sales experience.
Creative individual who demonstrates sound judgment and is attuned to the business landscape.
Self-driven, results-oriented, strategic thinker.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exhibits active listening and problem-solving abilities.
Proven track record in training and developing high-performing store teams.
Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
Ability to operate a computer and POS System.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift, frequently bend, squat, and twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder to access merchandise and/or supplies, and see and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
