The Role

As a Senior Enterprise Account Director at Lumen, you will oversee business development initiatives for prominent named accounts and/or specific market segments, facilitating the expansion and growth of new business opportunities. You will be responsible for coordinating strategies for assigned key accounts and for the comprehensive development and execution of account plans.

Main Responsibilities

- Identify, bid on, negotiate, and secure new sales opportunities to surpass established sales and revenue targets.
- Develop comprehensive account strategies to acquire new business from both new and existing clients.
- Strengthen and deepen relationships with current customers to enhance strategic positioning, retain existing revenue, and secure additional business.
- Provide insights to sales management regarding trends and changes within customer organizations, recommending future actions to improve the company's standing with clients.
- Maintain an accurate and detailed weekly forecast of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the company's complete product suite, with potential in-depth expertise in specific products and/or services.
- Manage account responsibilities, including solution development, offering configurations, order management, service delivery, service management, and revenue recognition.
- Exhibit a blend of strategic and tactical leadership.

Candidate Profile

Required:
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the technology or telecommunications sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape within the telecom industry.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and formal presentation skills, with a proven ability to close sales.
- Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented professional capable of working with minimal supervision.

Proficient in:
- MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to spend at least 50% of work time engaging in sales activities outside of the office.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position varies based on the employee's primary work location, with typical salaries ranging from $118,130 to $157,500 in specific states. Compensation is influenced by individual qualifications, including experience, education, skills, and certifications.
