Your Role:
As the Senior Financial Analyst within the Oshkosh Vocational Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will play a pivotal role in the finance organization of the Vocational segment, focusing on business collaboration, strategic planning, reporting, innovation, automation, and process enhancements.

This position is accountable for overseeing the financial consolidation and reporting activities of the segment, delivering essential financial insights.

Additionally, you will provide support for comprehensive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the segment. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Vocational Finance.


Your Impact:
While the following responsibilities are not exhaustive, they encompass key duties:


1. Lead the monthly consolidation and reporting for the Vocational segment, covering the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow for both actual results and forecasts.
2. Act as the primary lead and subject matter expert for OneStream consolidation and reporting within the Vocational Segment.
3. Assist in the annual strategic planning process, including long-range financial modeling and budgeting, which involves setting timelines, preparing materials, and consolidating submissions.
4. Support segment projects and initiatives that align with business objectives.
5. Aid in the compilation and review of monthly and quarterly reports while assisting the team in developing financial models.
6. Contribute to segment M&A activities and broader analysis and strategic projects.
7. Drive efficiencies and enhancements in segment planning and reporting processes.
8. Prepare monthly financial reporting metrics, key summary reports, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Standout Qualifications:
• Experience with financial consolidation software (preferably OneStream or HFM)
• Detail-oriented with robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
