We are currently seeking an On-Premise Sales Consultant. This role is essential in establishing and nurturing professional sales relationships, promoting and merchandising our products within a designated territory. The consultant will collaborate with management to develop strategic plans aimed at achieving both personal and organizational sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular sales visits to assigned accounts and engage in community events and training sessions as needed.
  • Expand product distribution within the assigned territory.
  • Manage orders, surveys, and inventory using our sales management system.
  • Monitor customer credit and manage collections on outstanding invoices.
  • Assist clients with inventory management, including product availability and promotional activities.
  • Introduce and promote new products and packaging.
  • Conduct supplier surveys and manage special orders.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and promotional strategies.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Foster positive relationships with both on- and off-premise accounts, ensuring respectful communication.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and distribution goals.
  • Track progress against sales plans and goals.
  • Meet regularly with management to discuss achievements and future strategies.
  • Provide education to customers regarding our products and industry trends.
  • Monitor competitive pricing and report any concerns to management.
  • Plan and execute supplier collaborations within customer accounts.

On-Premise Sales Consultant Duties:

  • Conduct training sessions for customer staff as necessary.
  • Design and implement point-of-sale materials, adhering to supplier marketing standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and product rotation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong focus on results.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Basic mathematical skills for pricing and promotions.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work with diverse internal and external customers.
  • Proven customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to work diligently while enjoying the process.
  • Familiarity with sales call procedures and industry regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 160 pounds.
  • Capability to crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
  • Ability to remain seated in a vehicle for extended periods.
