Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently process and oversee patient referrals in a call center setting.
  • Accurately input patient demographic and insurance details into the EPIC system.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling based on referral information.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the referral processing workflow.
  • Track and manage patient referrals to ensure prompt appointment scheduling with specialists or healthcare services.
  • Verify insurance coverage and secure necessary pre-authorizations or pre-certifications for referred services.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with the EPIC system is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in referral management is essential.
  • Healthcare experience along with strong customer service skills is required.
  • This role is suitable for individuals looking for a position without direct patient interaction.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is necessary.

Work Schedule:
  • Day Shift
  • 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday

Compensation:
$24.00 per hour

Experience Requirement:
