Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our optometric practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional patient experience and supporting the delivery of high-quality eyecare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Scheduling: Optimize patient appointments, notify doctors of patient arrivals, and review service delivery to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls promptly, and facilitate reminder calls for appointment confirmations and order pickups.
  • Manage Financial Transactions: Record and update financial information, collect patient charges, and process third-party claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Ensure all office systems are functioning properly, maintain inventory and equipment, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality.
  • Support Business Operations: Contribute to team efforts, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years of office experience in a healthcare setting
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, effective communication and problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with In-Store Technology: Knowledge of point-of-sale systems, patient record systems, and other software applications
  • Basic Knowledge of Services and Products: Understanding of vision insurance plans, office operations, and services offered
