Job Overview:

Position Summary:

Oversees and directs the activities of software engineers, developers, technologists, analysts, and other technical teams to align with software development objectives and organizational goals. Constructs extensive systems utilizing Angular, Nrwl, Typescript, JavaScript, Java, Swift, Kotlin, SDK, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies. Guides teams through sophisticated engineering practices, employing Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, and Pair Programming techniques. Develops a multi-channel reusable platform across Web, iOS, Android, and virtual assistants. Directs the design, development, and enhancement of intricate software systems, leveraging scientific analysis and mathematical models to forecast and assess design outcomes and implications. Establishes and manages software system testing and validation protocols, programming, and documentation. Acts as a technical authority across the chapter and domain areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Steers the technical strategy and execution of the solution architecture for the Functional/Domain Product Area.
  • Assesses team performance and recommends strategies for enhancement.
  • Analyzes and disseminates critical insights derived from measurement and analytics.
  • Transforms insights into actionable information that empowers leaders to make data-driven decisions for significant issues.
  • Evaluates and adopts contemporary technologies and engineering practices.
  • Reviews and endorses testing strategies and measurement plans.
  • Ensures measurement methodologies correspond with problem complexity and business priorities.
  • Refines content to create and deliver effective messaging to business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Interprets external business trends and state-of-the-art data, tools, and methodologies.
  • Mentors and coaches associates across the organization in both technical and business domains.
  • Develops and establishes the production support model.
  • Creates hybrid cloud platforms that connect on-premises systems with public cloud solutions.
  • Designs and migrates complex Financial Planning Monte Carlo simulations with projection calculator functionalities.
  • Transitions monolithic technical code repositories to a single serve Nrwl Mono repository.
  • Architects, develops, and modifies intricate software systems, utilizing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and evaluate design outcomes.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing, Management Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field, accompanied by six (6) years of experience in the role or six (6) years of experience in digital analytics for a Fortune or Forbes 500 Financial Services Firm.

Alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in the same fields with four (4) years of experience in the role or four (4) years of experience in digital analytics for a Fortune or Forbes 500 Financial Services Firm.

Skills and Expertise:

Candidates must also demonstrate:
  • Proven expertise in defining and delivering architectural strategies in a financial brokerage and planning environment for AI-driven personalization and recommendation capabilities across multiple consumer channels.
  • Expertise in providing technical leadership for enterprise-wide mobile application development in a financial brokerage context using native mobile technologies and modern architecture patterns.
  • Experience in developing secure web applications in the financial services domain using both server-side and client-side technologies.
  • Ability to architect and design omni-channel secure experiences across web, mobile, and chatbot platforms in a financial brokerage and planning environment.
