Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the company's safety and quality protocols, fostering a culture of injury prevention through proactive engagement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to strategize and ensure quality execution of assigned tasks.
  • Engage in estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-offs and subcontractor proposal evaluations.
  • Assist in the selection of subcontractors and vendors to optimize project delivery.
  • Manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and support project milestones.
  • Work on-site with project teams to oversee subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and resource management.
  • Participate in inspections, safety reviews, and quality assessments, preparing necessary documentation.
  • Update and maintain project drawings and specifications to reflect the latest information.
  • Organize and contribute to project meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
  • Inspect work, compile reports, and track project progress to support scheduling and productivity.
  • Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide regular updates to the project team to facilitate effective scheduling.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and documentation management.
  • Foster relationships and enhance communication skills with team members and tradespeople.
  • Understand and contribute to the various functions within the company that drive project success.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration within the project environment.
  • Implement Lean practices to enhance efficiency in daily activities.
  • Manage personal schedules within the scope of project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and construction technologies.
  • Ability to assess project productivity and optimize workflows.
  • Knowledge of specific trades and their scopes of work.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
