About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a Traffic Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by controlling traffic in and around active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control traffic using hand signals and paddles to maintain a safe working environment
  • Prepare and set up traffic control devices, including flags, cones, and signs
  • Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor as needed
  • Operate company vehicles safely and follow company driving policies
  • Follow local, state, and federal Department of Transportation guidelines
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Work in various weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • Have a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Hold a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Previous flagging experience is preferred
Physical Abilities and Exposures
  • Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10 and 25 pounds, use fine hand motions, and use keyboards and mice
  • Occasionally: work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift between 26 and 55 pounds
