The Localization team at YPrime is on the lookout for a Translations Coordinator to collaborate closely with our project teams on the translation and localization of our electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) services. This role is based in our Malvern, Pennsylvania office.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in translation or localization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • A strong customer service orientation with prior experience in client-facing roles
  • Technological proficiency
  • Attention to detail

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle principles
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred
  • Background in translation/localization, pharma/biotech, or CRO sectors is preferred
  • Prior experience with eClinical systems, specifically eCOA or EDC, is preferred
  • Multi-lingual capabilities are preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet localization requirements and language deadlines for various studies
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to assist in study design and manage the initiation, review, and approval of study documentation
  • Create and maintain a Localization tracker, actively monitoring submission deadlines and site-open dates to ensure task prioritization
  • Develop and communicate realistic timelines, providing timely updates to both internal and external study teams
  • Act as a point of escalation for localization updates or challenges, managing issues on behalf of the team to achieve resolutions
  • Manage relationships with Translation Vendors to ensure adherence to study deadlines across all relevant languages
  • Utilize company software for the export/import of materials for translation, ensuring all Sponsor-specific considerations are communicated
  • Participate in system testing to ensure design meets localization needs
  • Work with the Operations team to identify system bugs and initiate necessary fixes
  • Oversee and manage individual language tasks on the Translation project management board, providing support to Translation Assistants as needed
  • Manage software releases in development and validation environments
  • Conduct quality assurance on language tickets, ensuring all issues are addressed and communicated appropriately
  • Provide localized documents for Sponsor approval and upload to internal document management systems
  • Collaborate with Project Management and external study teams to develop a language deployment plan based on study requirements
  • Initiate and oversee localization testing to ensure accurate and timely implementation
  • Effectively prioritize workload while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as necessary
