PeopleShare is seeking a skilled Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of patient insurance verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify Patient Insurance: Verify patient insurance coverage with payors, including eligibility and benefits related to treatment.
- Coordinate Benefits: Determine coordination of benefits as required and maintain current patient account information at all times.
- Communicate with Facilities: Initiate and/or maintain ongoing communication with facilities and IMT to ensure timely and accurate receipt of patient insurance coverage information.
- Resolve Patient Account Errors: Update Patient Registration and associated systems accurately and as required, and resolve patient account errors that cause registration denials.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus, but not required
- Computer Skills: Computer savvy
