  • Verify Patient Insurance: Verify patient insurance coverage with payors, including eligibility and benefits related to treatment.
  • Coordinate Benefits: Determine coordination of benefits as required and maintain current patient account information at all times.
  • Communicate with Facilities: Initiate and/or maintain ongoing communication with facilities and IMT to ensure timely and accurate receipt of patient insurance coverage information.
  • Resolve Patient Account Errors: Update Patient Registration and associated systems accurately and as required, and resolve patient account errors that cause registration denials.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus, but not required
  • Computer Skills: Computer savvy
