Localization Project Coordinator

The Localization team at YPrime is on the lookout for a Translations Coordinator who will collaborate closely with our project teams to facilitate the localization and translation of our electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) services. This role is essential for ensuring that our services meet the diverse needs of our clients.
What we are looking for:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in translation or localization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- A commitment to customer service with prior experience in client-facing roles
- Technological proficiency
- Meticulous attention to detail
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous:
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle principles
- Experience in Project Management is a plus
- Background in translation/localization, pharmaceutical/biotech, or Clinical Research Organization (CRO) sectors is preferred
- Experience with eClinical systems, particularly eCOA or Electronic Data Capture (EDC), is a plus
- Multi-lingual capabilities are preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet localization requirements and project timelines
- Coordinate with the Operations team to assist in study design and manage the initiation, review, and approval of study documentation
- Maintain a Localization tracker, actively monitoring submission deadlines and site-open dates to ensure task prioritization
- Develop and communicate realistic timelines, providing timely updates to internal and external teams
- Act as a point of contact for localization updates or challenges, driving resolutions using available resources
- Manage relationships with Translation Vendors to ensure deadlines are met across all languages
- Utilize company software for exporting and importing materials for translation, ensuring all specific considerations are communicated
- Participate in system testing to confirm that design meets localization needs
- Work with the Operations team to identify and address system bugs
- Oversee and assign tasks on the Translation project management board, supporting Translation Assistants as needed
- Manage software releases in development and validation environments
- Conduct quality assurance on language tickets, ensuring all issues are addressed appropriately
- Provide localized documents for client approval and manage uploads to internal systems
- Collaborate with Project Management and external teams to establish language deployment plans based on project requirements
- Initiate and oversee localization testing to ensure timely and accurate deployment
- Effectively prioritize workload while managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
