Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development and Client Management: Analyze client needs to uncover business opportunities, target specific clients in accordance with branch policies, build and maintain relationships, and negotiate deal terms and monitor portfolios to meet annual goals.
  • Due Diligence and Compliance: Evaluate risks related to money laundering and terrorist financing, ensure KYC profiles are accurate for all clients, and work with KYC specialists to maintain compliance.
  • Credit Analysis and Lending: Conduct credit ratings and prepare credit applications, manage the credit application process in coordination with the Credit Approval Department, and oversee the closing process, ensuring all documentation is compliant.
  • Credit Monitoring: Perform ongoing credit analysis and risk assessments, monitor covenants and escalate any issues to portfolio managers, and conduct post-disbursement reviews and generate reports.
  • Risk Management and Remediation: Implement remediation plans and collaborate with relevant teams, participate in meetings to uphold risk management accountability, and update internal tracking mechanisms and conduct annual reviews.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Comply with regulatory policies and engage in training sessions, support leadership with industry research and reporting, and provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of client-facing experience, ideally in the NBFI sector; experience in fund finance is advantageous.
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial analysis software.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation Range: $145,000 - $180,000
