Pure Storage is revolutionizing the way organizations store, manage, and secure their data. As a SLED Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the sales of our innovative data storage solutions to State, Local, and Education customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop compelling value proposition strategies to drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized data storage solutions that address customer challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to establish Pure's value and drive customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to execute and win new Pure customers
  • Drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in SLED sales with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of the SLED procurement process, including experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
  • Ability to sell complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build relationships and drive customer success
  • Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving reference-able business
