Position Highlights:
This role offers a flexible work arrangement, including options for hybrid or fully remote work following the completion of an initial training period. The training duration may vary based on managerial discretion.
Your Contributions:
As a key player in our organization, you will be instrumental in ensuring member satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging directly with clients to address inquiries and resolve concerns related to various retirement and disability processes.
- Communicating effectively with members to gather necessary information and provide updates on account statuses.
- Utilizing various technologies to assist in managing member accounts and inquiries.
- Providing comprehensive explanations of the retirement plans administered by INPRS.
- Documenting all interactions with members to ensure efficient follow-up and resolution of issues.
- Collaborating with management to enhance customer service processes and recommend improvements.
- Participating in ongoing training to expand your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of INPRS pension plans and relevant federal and state regulations.
- Ability to navigate complex inquiries and provide support through various communication channels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- Associate's degree with a minimum of one year in customer service, or a high school diploma with three years of experience in a similar role.
- Background in financial services, insurance, or pension administration is preferred.
