Job Overview

Professional Management Enterprises is seeking a Certified Recovery Support Specialist to provide essential assistance to individuals navigating their recovery journey. The primary objective is to enhance engagement in suitable recovery services, ultimately leading to better health outcomes, as indicated by reduced visits to emergency departments for the individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate in-person, telephonic, and virtual support for individuals in recovery, ensuring they connect with necessary care and resources. (In-person outreach is anticipated to occur approximately two days per week.)
  • Collaborate with members referred by Case Management teams (including PH, BH, OB) to educate them about their recovery service options and assist them in accessing appropriate resources.
  • Work alongside members to address and resolve any challenges they may face during their recovery process.
  • Engage with community partners, which may include local behavioral health centers, mobile crisis teams, and various recovery service providers.
  • Provide services to members across designated counties, with a strong emphasis on the ability to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Certified Recovery Specialist credential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Willingness to travel at least two days per week is essential.
