Role Summary
The Aviation Customer Support Specialists (ACSS) play a vital role in the success of our fixed base operations (FBO) by consistently delivering exceptional customer service.

As an ACSS, you will often be the first point of contact for visitors, engaging with them and colleagues in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that concierge and other services are efficiently managed, provided, and billed in accordance with our established procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure every visitor receives a warm welcome.
  • Work closely with customers and other stakeholders to meet service needs, ensuring accurate information transfer.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and offering additional services.
  • Efficiently manage customer purchases and fuel transactions in line with company protocols.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our facilities, services, and surrounding areas to assist customers effectively.
  • Replenish complimentary supplies as per facility standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections to uphold cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide a range of concierge services, including hotel reservations and transportation arrangements.
  • Assist pilots with airport access and weather information.
  • Support visitors with luggage handling and aircraft marshaling as needed.
  • Adhere to emergency response protocols during critical events.
  • Recommend enhancements to operational standards and practices.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy at all times.
  • Comply with all security protocols as mandated by the company and airport.
  • Maintain accurate records of time worked and services provided.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Work Environment
The ACSS primarily operates within the FBO, with some responsibilities conducted outdoors on the airport ramp. Tasks may be performed in varying weather conditions, including precipitation and extreme temperatures.

Regular and reliable attendance is essential, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required, along with proficiency in computer operations.


Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A valid state license where applicable.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
  • The ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and adapt to different weather conditions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Three to six months of experience in aviation, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols.
