Omni is in search of a trauma-informed, quality-focused professional to become a vital member of our exceptional team as a Client Support Specialist FIS. As a multi-state organization, we provide essential services for both adults and children. In the role of Client Support Specialist FIS, you will be tasked with delivering services that assist individuals and families in accessing necessary medical, social, educational, and other supportive resources, in addition to offering counseling and therapeutic services as required. The FIS role can be broadly defined as assessing, advocating, linking, and coordinating essential community-based services for the clients and families we support. The specialist will play a significant role in promoting and supporting a client's educational, legal, vocational, extracurricular, and health-related objectives, with a consistent focus on achieving these goals.

The FIS typically engages with clients and their families (whether foster, adoptive, or biological) in their homes or residences on a regularly scheduled basis. Furthermore, the FIS may interact with community members at various locations such as schools, daycare centers, job sites, etc., as necessary to fulfill the service needs of the client. The working hours for the Client Support Specialist - FIS will vary based on the individual requirements of their caseload but are generally structured to not exceed 40 hours in a week.

A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in social sciences with at least one year of relevant professional experience working with families and children. While a degree in social sciences is preferred, a bachelor's degree in another field is acceptable with three years of relevant professional experience working with families and children.

Training in appropriate crisis prevention strategies and universal precautions is required.

Proof of automobile insurance and reliable transportation.

A valid driver's license is necessary.
