About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Strategic Transaction Group as a Vice President of Execution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for structuring, executing, and managing complex transactions that provide material tax and/or capital benefits to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new strategic opportunities that can make significant contributions to profit after tax and capital
  • Develop and implement complex transactions and solutions that capture potential tax and capital benefits
  • Manage all aspects of transactions, including robust controls, and engage with counterparties and external experts
  • Develop and maintain deal models that outline the terms of complex financial instruments and cash flows
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and navigate governance processes to ensure successful transaction execution
  • Develop and review comprehensive transaction documentation with external counsel

Vice President Expectations:

  • Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment and support the control and governance agenda
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to achieve business objectives and contribute to the organisation's goals
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and interpretative thinking
  • Seek out and build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish key business objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience with structured finance transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience crafting detailed presentations and papers for senior consumption
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
